Last June, The Great Day Choir headed to Totnes and Torquay for their fantastic musical tour, and what a weekend it was!
The Great Day Choir are an all-female choir from Somerset, performing uplifting music and pop tunes under the musical direction of Beth Morgan. To kick of their summer concert tour, on Saturday morning Great Day headed first to a truly special location, Kents Cavern. In amongst the caves, they gave a magical acoustic performance which will be an experience and memory to cherish forever.
But the magic didn’t stop there. That afternoon, it was time to head to St John’s Church in Bridgetown, where they joined Totnes & Bridgetown Community Choir for a joyous collaborative performance. The concert was full of musical delight and community spirit, and the perfect way to conclude their first day of performing on tour.
On the Sunday morning The Great Day Choir headed to the renowned Torre Abbey for their final concert of the weekend. In the grounds of this magnificent building, Great Day’s concluding performance took place, which was a beautiful and uplifting moment to round off such a fantastic weekend.
A warm weekend of amazing performances, memories made to last a lifetime and a truly fantastic group of women made this tour a real standout favourite of 2025.
